Volks makes and sells two things that rarely share a shop elsewhere: scale models and garage kits on one side, ball-jointed dolls on the other. The showrooms carry both — Osaka, Nagoya, Yokohama, Kobe, Fukuoka — while Akihabara splits them, Hobby Tengoku 2 and Hobby Square for the kits, tools and paints, Doll Point on the eighth floor of Radio Kaikan for the Super Dollfie side, where a doll is assembled and dressed at the counter. Staff know the products because the company makes them.
