Osaka's hobby quarter is Den Den Town, a straight walk south from Namba. The electronics shops that gave it its name have largely given way to anime, models and second-hand goods, concentrated on two parallel streets: Sakaisuji, and Ota Road, the otaku side, where animate, Lashinbang, Melonbooks and the doujinshi shops follow one another. Mandarake Grand Chaos, Super Potato and Volks cover the rest. Shops here open later than Tokyo's, often at 11:00 or noon, and stay open to 20:00.
