The Mandarake shop on the ground floor of Nakano Broadway, and the one to start with: manga, figures, toys and cards in a single room at street level, before the twenty-odd shops of the same chain spread over the floors above. Mon is the door, not the whole building.

To know · Ground floor, from 12:00 with the rest of the building, and the chain's own page says Nakano opens every day of the year.

Trap · It is tempting to stop here. The specialist shops upstairs hold the depth: cards at Card-kan on the second floor, manga at Honten on the third, the older and stranger stock at Kaiba on the fourth.
