Retro game shops in Nakano

中野

Retro at Nakano means toys and hardware from the Showa era rather than a wall of cartridges. Mandarake Galaxy, Daisharin, Shosharin and Katsudo Shashinkan on 2F, Mania-kan, Konpeito, Henya and Kaiba on 4F, and UFO on 2F carry tin toys, sofubi kaiju, film memorabilia and boxed consoles, each graded and priced by condition rather than sold as junk. XR Center Game Space on 1F is the one place here you can play rather than buy. Bring cash: some units still prefer it.

How we rank

Shops checked on site by Kaidashi come first, then those confirmed by more travellers, then those with official facts. Nobody pays to be listed or ranked. How we check and rank, in full.
