The one door on Character Street that is not about anime at all: Shochiku's kabuki shop, selling kabuki merchandise and Japanese craft goods, with information on current performances and, some days, a craftsman demonstrating and selling their work at the counter. It also has its own character, Kabuki Nyantaro, which is how a kabuki shop ends up on a street of cartoons.

To know · The performance information is the useful part for a visitor: kabuki tickets and schedules are hard to reach in English, and this counter has the Shochiku calendar in front of it.

Trap · Nobody comes to Character Street for kabuki, which is exactly why it is worth two minutes. But it is a theatre shop: if you want anime goods, the twenty other doors in this corridor are the ones.
