The Ghibli shop on the street, and the one door here that needs no explaining to anyone: Totoro, Kiki, Howl and the rest as soft toys, homeware and stationery. On a corridor where most shops assume you follow a series, this one assumes only that you have seen a film.

To know · Ghibli has no theme park shop in Tokyo and its museum in Mitaka needs a ticket bought in advance, so a station branch is how most visitors reach the goods at all.

Trap · Ghibli merchandise is licensed and sold at the same price across Japan. There is nothing here that a Ghibli shop elsewhere does not have, so buy what you like rather than hunting.
