Otaku shops in Ikebukuro

Ikebukuro is the women-oriented counterpart to Akihabara, and it is organised around two poles. Otome Road, east of the station, lines up more than twenty K-BOOKS and Lashinbang shops, each given over to one thing: doujinshi for women, 2.5D stage actors, idol goods, K-pop, one publisher's titles. The animate flagship stands a street away, a whole building of its own. The second pole is Sunshine City, where the Pokemon Center MEGA TOKYO, the One Piece store and the Ghibli shop share a mall with Chiikawa Park.
